The traditional "Good Friday" Cross Walk, under the auspices of the Perry Area Ministerial Association (PAMA) was carried out by the Perry area Christian community beginning at 12:30 pm from Brick Presbyterian Church, corner N. Main and Church Streets, moving down S. Main St. to Holy Apostles Episcopal Church opposite Mill Street on S. Main St. This memorable event reminds us of the painful execution of Jesus Christ upon a cross which sets up the big celebration for the Christian community of Easter Sunday, also known as Resurrection Sunday. Festivities begin with the traditional 7 am Service at the Charcoal Corral followed by donuts and coffee. That then is followed by the larger Easter Services in each church in the later morning.
