Officers Adam Hope of Perry and David Spink of SLI, received a call from County Dispatch last Sunday, February 11, 2018, that a child had fallen into the Outlet near the dam gates on S. Federal St. right around 2 pm. The Officers responded, as did Perry Fire Department and Monroe Ambulance Service. Hope got her out of the water and then the two men carried her up to the waiting ambulance. She was taken to WCCH in Warsaw. The girl had apparently been walking along the edge of the water when the snow and ice gave out and she slipped into the wintry waters.
