Winston Sahrle to Show Abstract Acrylic Painting Feb. 24-March 10

The Annual Elementary School Art Exhibit opens February 24 and lasts until March 10 at the Wyoming County YMCA's Satellite Gallery and is sponsored by the Arts Council of Wyoming County. The show is open to any Wyoming County student in grades K-8 to show their art. The above Abstract acrylic painting is by PCS student Winston Sahrle. Proud Grandmother, Val Sahrle, is a regular member of the Hoag Memorial Art Gallery's regular Thursday Painting Class at the Silver Lake Institute.

A closing reception and awards ceremony will be held on March 10 at 2:00 pm at the WMCA, located at 115 Linwood Ave. in Warsaw, NY. In addition to awards, students participating in the show will be eligible to be finalists for the All County K-12 Art Calendar produced by the ACWC and sponsored by Ruthanne Vitagliano, PhD. Donations freely accepted.
