For some folks, Wednesday night was simply a deep and restful sleep. Some others were awoken by the rolling thunder around 3 a.m. Those still up and awake at that hour might have seen the weather service's "Severe Weather Alert" issued from 3:26 to 4:15 a.m. "A line of slow-moving thunderstorms will affect . . . Wyoming County . . ." However, if one read far enough, one would see that they did not mean "Wyoming County," but rather "Southwestern Wyoming County," leaving most of us (Silver Lake) well out of range.
