The SLI News Blog has just added a new page labeled "Deaths" for use as an obituary page. The listings will extend from an individual's date of death through the Silver Lake Annual Memorial Service (SLAMS) each summer, after which a new listing will be established.
Families wishing to list a death notice or full obituary for the Silver Lake Community, may either make your request through the Funeral Director handling your arrangements or send your copy directly to SLI Obituary, POB 19, Silver Lake, NY 14549 (greg@silverlakeinstitute.org or call 585-444-7384 or text 585-689-9035). Please phone if there is a time element involved.
Either way, there is no charge for Silver Lake residents. Please include your telephone number and whether or not you want your loved one listed in the annual service held in Epworth Hall each summer. This year's SLAM Service is August 21st at 10:30 a.m. with refreshments following.
