Wyoming County statistics on Covid-19 remain healthfully low, but nevertheless show testing results which demonstrates a slow, yet steady growth in positive Covid-19 numbers. The Silver Lake Daily Newsletter has been tracking the Wyoming County Covid-19 web site since mid June and this is what we found.
Positive testing results from:
- June 16-30 increased by 4;
- July 1-15 increased by 8;
- July 16-31 increased by 9;
- August 1-12 increased by 6;
The total cases of Covid-19 recorded through August 12 is 118.
These reasonably low Covid-19 figures point to some successful observing of the practices of masking, social distancing, and a reduction in group gatherings. It also points to the clear necessity of continuing these safety practices.
