...Locally Dense Fog Across the Higher Terrain this Early Morning...
A persistent moist air mass has again generated areas of fog and low clouds this early morning, with the greatest coverage of fog across the hills and ridge tops. Here visibility may drop to a quarter of a mile or less. Across lower terrain fog will be more patchy in nature.
If traveling this early morning be prepared for rapid changes invisibility, and adjust your speed accordingly.
The fog will remain through the early morning hours thinning across the region just past sunrise as drier air filters in.
