Last year we Survivors began arriving a little before 4:00 and the 23 present remained until almost 6:00. This year we are anticipating somewhere between 37 and 42 depending on changing circumstances. This is the reason for the open invitation to stop by to greet friends and acquaintances. For those who just stop by, we might even have something to offer you to eat. Individuals eat for $5 or $1 for just a soft drink (hot or cold).
Ground Hog coloring sheets and connect the dots will be available for children of all ages (bring your own crayons, markers or pencils. The movie, Ground Hog will be playing. Table games will be available for adults who want to engage. Conversations and catching up will be a priority. Before leaving, be sure to let us know what you would like to see or have for next year. We're thinking about either a desert event or snack food event since last year's folks told us that eating a meal was not a necessary priority.
Additions to this year's pizza party menu include: (1) Buffalo Chicken pizza and (2) Vegetable pizza in addition to (3) Cheese & Pepperoni with all toppings except anchovies; and (4) Cheese and Pepperoni. A small Gluten-Free pizza with pepperoni will also be available. Coffee, Tea, Hot Cocoa, and Koinonia's soft drink fountain. Whether coming to stay or stopping by, we look forward to seeing you.
