* WHAT... Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 20 inches expected in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE... Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie counties, mainly higher terrain.

* WHEN... From midnight tonight to 6 PM EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
