Even though the high temperature forecast for Wednesday was only for the mid 40s, at 2 am and 3 am the temperature at the north end of the Lake was 55 and was 51 at the south end. The warmth hung in there longer than anticipated but by the later morning hours had dropped into the predicted 40s. At 10 am, the air temperature around the entire Lake was 43.
