Unofficial Word has it that a First Draft of the New Budget May be at Hand

With just two (2) days to go before "the public work" on the budget begins, the Finance Committee may have a first draft of what the 2018 Budget may begin to look like. We have contacted the Finance Committee and offered to publish the draft (or finished copy) here so SLI members get more than 3 to 5 minutes to see it before offering suggestions or asking questions. Past experience tells us that the initial proposal will still need tweaking or even a serious change, that is understood as part of a first draft or initial working copy. We all hope all committees will be more diligent in helping to get the SLI membership informed about your work and your proposals as we strive toward the goal of transparency.
