The new sound system for Epworth Hall has been purchased and some components have already arrived. The plan is to have the system installed and ready for use in time for this year's 145th Season. The new system will be a permanent installation but will also be under lock and key to protect the investment that so many contributed to last season. Good friend of Epworth Hall, Eric Kelly is the project manager.
The Epworth roof is in desperate need of replacement. The last roof installed had its longevity warranty nullified because of inadequate venting. The original vents were opened up in time for the 2016 Season by Craig Bateman and crew, and the result was notable this past season. There will be opportunities to raise additional funds this year and it is the hope of the Institute leadership team that the roof replacement can be accomplished by year's end.
