Tractor Trailer, Various Ditch Diggers, Scoop Tractors Highlight Large Machines
Not Normally Seen on Our Small SLI Roads

Yesterday and Today, large pieces of equipment could be seen manipulating the one lane roads of the Silver Lake Institute as the streets in the western side of Perry Avenue are receiving a new natural gas supply pipe. The new pipe is being laid in a new stretch of ditch along Lakeview Avenue which replaces the old 1913 gas supply line.
