Wyoming: Partially Surrounded by Excess Heat/Humidity:
Heat advisory issued for Sunday in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans counties

Saturday's temperature at 6:30 pm was 84° at the Silver Lake Marine Weather Station. The heat advisory from the weather bureau for Sunday does not include Wyoming County, but one wonders if Silver Lake's closeness to Livingston County could shift heat advisories to include Wyoming as has occurred on more than one occasion previously.

The heat advisory issued for Sunday in our northerly and easterly neighboring counties is scheduled to be in affect from 11 am to 7 pm according to the NWS out of Buffalo. The "feels like" (heat index) temperatures are being expressed as being between 95 and 100 degrees even though the actual temperatures are forecast for the upper 80s and lower 90s--humidity being a major factor.

To avoid heat illness, avoid strenuous activities, wear light weight and loose fitting clothing, drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, or at least spend time in the shade or air conditioned spaces.
