gets you a ton of free publicity
The phrase we want to avoid the most is - "Unfortunately, we were unable to provide publicity for this event because we did not receive any notice of it." This year is unusual in this way and we hope organizations are not thinking that free publicity is not worth the effort. Hopefully, we will be receiving the five essential W's that we can publish for you, free of charge (who, what, why, when, where + how) or as many as you know.
If you happen to see an event somewhere and do not see us publicizing, please feel free to let us know by any means--phone, text message, email, PO Box 19, personal visit--you name it, we'll go out of our way to accommodate it because we consider it valuable.
The Lake-Wide mission of the SilverLakeDailyNewsletter has only been around since 2018 but has sought to provide news of interest to the communities around Silver Lake with descending priorities of Perry, GLOW region, WNY and NYS--all totally free of charge. All services are also free of charge. The status of "free of charge" doesn't allow for any publicity budget, so spread the word.
The SilverLakeNewsletter publishes Monday through Friday and some news occasionally makes it onto the news site on Saturday or Sunday. We're available 24/7 and without any paper clutter to pile up. When submitting news, attempt to include the basics: who, what, why, when, where, and how. Submit it in an easy to do "list form" and we will write it up and headline it. Photos with contrast (not too light and not too dark) are welcome and can be returned if needed.
