New Office Facilities for Veterans' Services:
Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce to host ribbon cutting for
the Veterans' Services new location

 

The Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office will host a ribbon cutting celebrating the new home of the Wyoming County Veterans’ Services Office located at the Wyoming County Ag & Business Center, 36 Center Street, in Warsaw. The ribbon cutting will take place at noon. Refreshments will be served.

 

The Wyoming County Veterans’ Services Office is now located in Suite B-2 at the Ag & Business Center in Warsaw to better serve the Veteran community within the County. The office is wheelchair accessible and now offers a stop on the RTS Wyoming bus route to meet the needs of clients with transportation needs.

 

The Wyoming County Veterans’ Services Office assists Veterans and their dependents in obtaining benefits from the US Department of Veterans Affairs and/or local governments. These benefits include but are not limited to: health care benefits; benefits programs for Veterans; benefits for dependents and survivors. The Office also administers the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Support Program, which honors the memory of PFC Joseph P. Dwyer and his legacy of service. The program brings Veterans, service members, and their families together through veteran-to-veteran collaborative services, social activities, and community service, easing the transition from military to civilian life. Normal office hours are Monday- Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
