Complaints Cause Change in SLI Lawn Sign Posting Policy for Significant Sites
Shown above is the Silver Lake Institute's Big Blue Dock. To the left of the Dock is the end section of Heritage Walkway as it divides into two sections and wraps around the Flag Garden. The sign at the bottom portion of the photo, though important to the spirituality aspect of the Institute's work, will not be posted again in this location and neither should any other sign.
Details of the new policy have not been disclosed in the Minutes of the June SLI Trustee meeting but Trustees tell the SLN that the discussion was that signs should be kept off the Green area located between the lakeshore and Lakeview Avenue.
