Baseball's King of the Hill, Adam Halsey of Letchworth Hurls No Hitter in season opening win over Perry
Adam Halsey (Letchworth) - Went 5-0 with four saves and a sparkling 1.47 ERA in 12 appearances, which included six starts. In 43 innings pitched, allowed just 29 hits and nine earned runs, while walking only 18 and striking out 69.
Halsey hurled a no-hitter in the Indians’ season-opening win over Perry and helped lead Letchworth to the Section V Class C1 title, its first in 60 years.
