2 hospitalized in motorcycle-van crash

A van rolled onto its side after a motorcycle struck it near 3872 W. Main Street Rd., Batavia, last night (Thursday evening). A 34-year-old man riding the motorcycle was taken by Mercy Flight to Strong with serious injuries. The wife of the 80-year-old man driving the van was taken to UMMC for her non-life-threatening injuries. Charges pending include failure to yield right of way (driver of the van) and speeding (driver of the motorcycle).
