Strong Thunderstorm and Heavy Rain and Hail the size of ice cubes roar thru the area causing a brief power failure
Just about as fast as the storm came rushing through, it left the area just about as quickly but doused Silver Lake with 1 1/2 inches of rain. The power failure was only about two seconds--just enough that half of the household electronics had to be re-set while waiting for Spectrum's tv box to re-boot.
