Random shots fired at houses in Bethany

Bullets were fired at several houses on Bethany Center Road late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, Genesee County sheriff’s investigators said.

Investigators said the incidents appear to be random and that no one in particular was being targeted for attack.

The shots were fired after 9 p.m. Saturday and into the early-morning hours of Sunday between Mayne and Raymond roads.

Witnesses saw a dark blue, two-door car with a loud exhaust in the area, driving up and down the road about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies said.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information can contact Genesee County Sheriff’s Department at 344-5000 and ask for Investigator Ryan DeLong at ext. 3572 or email DeLong at Ryan.Delong@co.genesee.ny.us.
