Perry man pleads guilty to drug charge in McKean County, PA
Published in BradfordEra 6-11-22 — A Perry, N.Y., man pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court to his involvement with attempting to sell marijuana.
Nathan Brown, 21, entered a guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver one pound of marijuana. He will be sentenced Aug. 18.
According to the criminal complaint at the time of his arrest, in October, a state trooper was dispatched to a residence in a trailer park in Rixford for a noise complaint at 12:21 a.m. When the trooper arrived, he heard loud music and knocked on the door for several minutes with no results.
Another trooper walked around the residence to see if there was another door. However, the complaint stated, the trooper saw Brown and others through the window, weighing a bag containing suspected marijuana on a scale. When someone answered the door, the trooper asked for and received permission to search the residence, finding marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside. Brown and other people at the home were placed under arrest, the complaint stated.
Brown is represented by Warren attorney Victoria Hermann. He is free on $50,000 bail awaiting sentencing.
