Forecast calls for Rain, T-Storm but then slaps on the end: 30% chance
WNY being WNY, I guess even a less than 50-50 chance (30%) of rain just naturally means "rain with a t-shower."
This same forecast, when stated on the optimistic side of things, should read "70% chance of a rain-free day with a significant chance of rain and a t-shower," if that's what they really mean.
Actually, the barometer is dropping and conditions are somewhat good for the "spotty showers" on the radar headed our way to develop as they pass over Lake Erie. Even so, that chance of development is officially being called at 30%.
