Perry man faces felony charges after he violated order of protection
Village of Perry Police Report
Officers McKaylee Croll and Austin Harding responded to the incident on Lake Street and found Vincent M. Strathearn, 26, had fled the scene, police said. He was found and detained a few minutes later on Short Street.
Further investigation allegedly revealed Strathearn had violated an order of protection barring physical contact and lacked a prescription for the drugs he possessed.
Strathearn was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree harassment. He was committed to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail and is to appear May 10 in Village Court.
