Two taken to Strong Memorial after motorcycle-dump truck accident in Stafford
A Batavia man and woman, both in their 60s, who were on a motorcycle, were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after the motorcycle and a truck were involved in an accident this afternoon at the intersection of Seven Springs and Clinton Street roads, a county Sheriff’s Office sergeant said.
The man, 62 years old, was seriously hurt, Sgt. Thomas Sanfratello said. The preliminary investigation found the motorcycle was headed east on Clinton Street Road and struck a dump truck which was going north on Seven Springs Road toward Batavia Stafford Townline Road.
The driver of the truck was not hurt. The accident was called in around 12:35 p.m.
