Voting Results for Wyoming County


In Arcade, two trustee seats were up for election. Eric Szucs, running on the Democratic and Republican lines, got 153 votes and Democrat Lisa Byers, received 107 votes. Each won a four-year term. Republican candidate James George received 91 votes.

In Attica, three candidates ran for two trustee seats for two-year terms. Democrat and Independence Party candidate Gary Guralny received 148 votes and Republican Matthew Sage had 145. Republican Jeffrey Peters had 128.

In Castile, two candidates ran for two trustee seats, both of which are two-year terms. Republicans Dennis Miller and David Reed got 15 and 14 votes, respectively.

In Silver Springs, Democrat Raymond King was elected mayor for a four-year term with 32 votes. Democrat Raymond Rohauer (27 votes) and Republican Karen Tallman (25), both won four-year terms as trustees. Republican Sara Mattingly, won a two-year term as trustee with 28 votes. Omas Wright got one write-in vote.

In Warsaw, Republican Mark Sundt received 223 votes for a four-year term as village justice. Four candidates ran for two trustee positions for four-year terms. Democrat Matthew Rajk got 141 votes, Republican Joshua Schurr had 139, Democrat Joseph Tyrpa 123 and Republican Vincent Hodgdon 121.

In Wyoming, Republican Michael Lacey had 21 votes and Republican Richard Bush 18 as both won two-year terms as trustees. Robert Hodgson received a write-in vote. Proposition -1, a local law to opt out of licensing and establishing retail cannabis dispensaries and/or on-site cannabis consumption establishments within the village, passed, 16-7.
