Thursday, the 31st, is the last day of March. Meteorologists tell us it also will be the warmest day of the week. This is the reason we have chosen a spring-like illustration to wish March a warm Goodbye in spite of its wintery character through most of the month. Late in the evening March will, however, give in and return the cold to us in its waning hours.

With spring comes woodchucks
A woodchuck with a snaggletooth is hesitant to run away as it was approached Tuesday. Possibly groggy from hibernation he watched for a bit, then eventually walked away.
