Emergency responders from several agencies deployed along the Tonawanda Creek Monday morning as efforts continued to find a Batavia man.
The Batavia Police Department on Friday sought the public's assistance in locating Lewis Hyde.
"There was no indication that he definitely went into the water at this time, so we're just doing our due diligence," Hill said.

A state police helicopter was called in after the jacket was found and surveyed the creek." I know from previous experience that it's happened that people have gone for a couple of days and we've ended up tracking them down and they're fine," Hill said.
