Parolee back in jail for drugged driving a month after release
Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies were interviewing a parolee out of Buffalo as part of an investigation into an unspecified complaint Thursday.
The parolee left the interview and five minutes later was seen driving a car on Dale Road. Deputies knew that he had no valid license because of 12 active suspensions. They also suspected Brandon L. Constance, 29, was high on drugs. A drug recognition expert determined that he was.
Constance, who served two state prison terms for criminal mischief and possession of stolen property convictions, was charged with felony driving while impaired by drugs, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operation.
He was arraigned in Perry Town Court and committed to Wyoming County Jail without bail.
Constance is on parole until August. He had just been released from prison Feb. 10, according to state Department of Corrections.
