Second 17-yr old suspect arrested in McKinley High School Stab-Shooting
Buffalo police say a 17-year-old boy is in custody in connection to the shooting of a security guard during an attack at McKinley High School on February 9. [The first arrest was of a 17-year-old girl, according to the District Attorney.]
According to police, the [second] 17-year-old was taken into custody without incident Monday at an address on Baxter Street in coordination with the SWAT team.
The Erie County District Attorney's Office announced the 17-year-old boy was charged with one count of attempted murder in the second degree, one count of assault in the second degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. said he is a registered student of McKinley High School "who has not had great attendance."
