Woman injured in two-story fall
Village of Attica police are continuing to investigate a domestic dispute that may have led to a woman falling from a second-floor window at an Exchange Street house Sunday aftern"oon.
Chief Dean Hendershott said police were called to the house at 1:15 p.m. for a report of a domestic incident. He said that when the officer arrived, he found that a woman had fallen from the window and was injured.
EMS was requested, with Attica Fire Department and Monroe paramedics responding. The woman was evaluated and then taken by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of head injuries,
Hendershott said the woman remained hospitalized as of Tuesday and was in fair condition in Trauma ICU. He said he could not make more comments as the investigation is continuing.
