Sex offender charged again with failing to abide by registry rules

A Level 2 sex offender who previously was convicted of violating state Sex Offender Registry rules was jailed after he was charged with failing to report a change of address Wyoming County sheriff's deputies said.
Anthony P. Taylor, 30, formerly of Arcade was arraigned in Village Court on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender after he failed to report a change of address within 10 days.
The charge is a class D felony, punishable by up to seven years in prison, because of Taylor's previous conviction on similar charges. Taylor was committed to Wyoming County Jail without bail.
Taylor is a Level 2 offender. He was convicted in 2013 of second0degree criminal sexual act for having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl in Arcade. He was sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years probation and remains on probation pending the outcome of the new case.
