Side Roads Continue to Receive a Fresh Coating:
Wyoming County Slated to get more snow flurry activity throughout night

The extremes of the storm are over for Wyoming County, so when you see snow flurries continuing to coat the ground, you can be assured it won't be piling up much. Flurries are scheduled to be over by 1 am or shortly thereafter. A second snowfall coming from the south may affect Silver Lake with more flurries but, again, should not bring much-added snow to the area.

UPDATE -- Precipitation at the Silver Lake Marine Weather Station from Midnight 1/7/22 through 6:45 am 1/7/22 stands at 0.00.

The City of Buffalo and the Buffalo-Niagara Airport had the top numbers for snowfall. Buffalo had a little over a foot-and-a-half while the Airport had a little under a foot-and-a-half. Orchard Park closed schools but failed to receive the forecasted snow.
