New Forecast for Wyoming County stamped 9:22 pm:
Silver Lake is in the Opposite Corner of the County (southeast) from where the storm is now mapped (northwest)

SNOW TOTALS DOWN FROM ORIGINAL 5 TO 10 INCHES
NOW SET AT 3 TO 5 INCHES IN NW WYOMING COUNTY

..WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY
REMAINS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 1 AM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches in the most persistent snows. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow. The strongest winds are expected tonight through Thursday morning.

* WHERE...Wyoming county. Most of the snow will be in the far northwest corner of the county.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions at times with reduced visibility in blowing snow. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute on Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving.
