Mercy Flight issues scam alert first brought to Light in Batavia
Mercy Flight has issued a scam alert. A person has been going door-to-door soliciting monetary donations on behalf of the organization, Mercy Flight officials said in a Facebook post.
“Mercy Flight does not solicit donations door-to-door,” they said. “Anyone who receives this type of solicitation from anyone claiming to represent Mercy Flight should notify their local Police Department.”
