AFC Champs, the Bills, Play the Patriots in the Wild Card Saturday
The Buffalo Bills, 11 and 6, will be at home in Orchard Park Saturday night when they again play the New England Patriots, 10 and 7, this time for a final chance at extending their season and playoff run. Even though temperatures will be in the single digits for the game, battery power heating elements in clothing are banned from Highmark stadium. Because of the temperatures, the cost of tickets dropped several times and as of Wednesday night, some seats hit the low--so far--of $30.
Bills' fan and life-long Silver Laker, David Spink, was seen in his Bills' shirt and knit cap on the ABC affiliate in Buffalo, Channel 7, in a publicity shot for Saturday's game. Two Silver Lake Hoffners will also be present at Saturday's game, Michael and Josh, the son and grandson of Julie Hoffner whose cottage is on Ames Ave. Walkway, belonging originally to her grandparents.
