Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce employee stole more than $100,000
Kelly Ashcroft |
The Chamber filed a criminal complaint against Kelly Ashcraft, 45, in January, alleging that she had stolen funds and forged business records, village police said. An investigation allegedly found Ashcraft allegedly stole more than $100,000 since 2018 and falsified and forged the Chamber’s business records.
It was also found that Ashcraft had produced a fake CDC Vaccination card and filed it with the Warsaw Central School District, police said.
Ashcraft was charged with second-degree grand larceny, three counts of third-degree grand larceny, four counts of second-degree forgery, and one count of first-degree falsifying business records.
Ashcraft was released and is to appear March 7 in Village Court.
