Orchard Park Report Monday Night:
Final: New England 14; Buffalo 10

FIRST QUARTER:
...Patriots ..8;.Bills...7
HALF TIME:............Patriots.11;iBills...7
THIRD QUARTER:.Patriots 11; Bills 10
GAME FINAL:........Patriots 14; Bills 10

Wind remained a significant factor for the throwing game causing more than usual missed and incomplete passes. Commentators and post-game announcers tended to blame both offense and defense of the Bills for the loss. Snow and Temperature were not significant factors in this game.

UPDATE: In this morning's edition of the Batavia Daily News, the words were not mixed. The headline read "Patriots run all over Bills, seize control of AFC East race." Its opening paragraphs continued:

"The most highly anticipated game of the Bills season turned into a dud for Buffalo fans, as the rival New England Patriots stormed into a windy Orchard Park and seized a 14-10 win to secure a stranglehold on the AFC East divisional race.

"Many things went wrong for the Bills in the loss, as their struggles defending the run continued as did their difficulties converting inside the red zone.

"Despite employing a one-dimensional gameplan against the Bills, the Patriots found plenty of success in the ground game and rushed for over 220 total yards including a long touchdown run. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones threw just two passes in the win, completing two of them."
