A Buffalo man is facing several felony charges after he was caught driving with a loaded handgun, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said....................................................................................

Christopher W. Morrow, 24, was stopped on Route 20A, [Town of Perry] said Sgt. Colin Reagan. Further investigation allegedly revealed a high capacity ammunition clip inside his Jeep’s glove box. Deputies said the clip was loaded with 27 rounds.

As Morrow exited the Jeep so he could be taken into custody, a loaded 9 mm handgun was found in the drivers side door directly next to him, deputies said. It allegedly had 15 bullets in its clip and one in the chamber.

Morrow’s vehicle was also allegedly found to have a suspended registration due to lack of insurance coverage.

Morrow was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, along with one count each of inadequate tail lamps, driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving without insurance.

Morrow was committed to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. He is to appear Jan. 5 in Town Court.       Source: Daily News (Batavia)
