Saturday 18 Dec 21:
News Briefs

WNY is one very unusual place by today's weather patterns which will be changing throughout the day. It snowed on the North side this morning, freezing drizzle in the mid section and snow in the southern section. Wyoming County appears to be in the freezing drizzle section. In the afternoon, the North section turned to rain and then freezing rain. When or exactly how it all shapes up remains flexible. Be prepared and cautious. What looks like wet pavement could be ice. Statistics for Silver Lake at 3:22 pm on Saturday -- 32 degrees, 0 wind speed, 0.31 precipitation so far.    [Source: NWS.]
