Silver.Lake Prepares for 'Wild.&.Crazy' Day of Wind, Changing Temps, Snow with Gusts up to 60 mph Possible
A High Wind Watch remains in effect from 8 am Monday morning through 8 pm Monday Evening. It should be noted, however, that Livingston County, a 15 minute distance away from the northern edge of Perry Village is NOT under the Wind Watch, so one wold think that Silver Lake stood a fair chance of somewhat less effect from the winds as Genesee County (who are also under the Wind Watch) and as the rest of Wyoming County (who ORIGINALLY were NOT under the Wind Watch.
NYSE&G is preparing for strong winds, which are expected to first move across the state this evening into early Monday morning. A second storm is expected to begin Monday afternoon and last into the evening. Our storm team has been proactively staging crews ahead of the storm in the areas that are expected to be significantly impacted.
