Welcome back, Silver Lake Marine Weather Station, We Knew Thee Well
What we have always liked about the Silver Lake Marine Weather Station was its location. We believe the chances of accuracy are enhanced by its being on the lakeshore of Silver Lake itself. We also like promoting local businesses over the huge suburban box stores. Our local communities are way too unique, and good for familiar and pleasant living with mostly familiar neighbors to ignore or pass it by.
The Silver Lake Marine Weather Station has been empty of weather facts and forecasts for what seems to be an eternity but is probably more like 4 or 5 months. We were delighted when we noticed its return about a week ago. We continue to check for accuracy before switching back. Five to seven more days should be about right and, hopefully, well before ice-fishing season.
