Orleans Only WNY Low Transmission Status:
Western NY's Covid-19 / Delta Strain Needs the Attention of All Residents
The above CDC map of New York shows Orleans County as having low transmission of COVID-19 and Genesee, Livingston and Wyoming with moderate transmission. Monroe, Niagara and Erie counties were at substantial transmission levels.
In late July the CDC recommended areas with "substantial" and "high" transmission rates wear masks indoors whether vaccinated or not.
Color Index -- Blue is Low; Yellow is Moderate; Brown is substantial.
