From Late Afternoon to 11 PM:
Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Western New York, GLOW Counties Region

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Western New York including the GLOW region. The watch is in effect until 11 p.m. tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo. Isolated thunderstorms are developing in an unstable airmass across the region this afternoon. The thunderstorms will likely expand in coverage and intensify through by mid to late afternoon.

The primary hazards from the thunderstorms will be strong wind gusts over 50 mph and tropical downpours, according to the NWS. Flooding could occur if multiple storms move over the same area.
