Storm Watch Nearing Expiration:
Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Wyoming and Livingston counties

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect through 7 p.m. tonight in Wyoming and Livingston counties. There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms, with the potential to produce damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall at times, according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo. The watch also include Allegany, Cattaraugus, Steuben and Ontario counties.

UPDATE: Silver Lake experienced an afternoon Thunderstorm but not at the intensity of those in neighboring areas such as Orangeville and continuing on north and east of the Lake.
