Mobile food pantries set for Wyoming

Eight mobile food pantries have been announced for Wyoming County. The drive-thru food distributions will take place in conjunction with Foodlink, officials said. Each will take place 10 a.m. to noon on the following calendar:

• May 6 and June 3 at the Attica Pantry; May 13 and June 10 at the Arcade Village Park;
• May 27 and June 24 at Perry Village Park;
• May 20 and June 17 at Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church in Warsaw.

Recipients must stay in their vehicles at all times. A volunteer will tell them when to open their trunk.

Specific information must be included on a piece of paper taped to the driver’s side window. It must include the recipients’ ZIP code, along with the numbers of adults, children and seniors in the household. Recipients should also include if they need to exit their vehicle to open their trunk. Once the box is in the trunk, the volunteer will tap on the recipient’s vehicle, signaling it’s OK to depart.
