The safari will take viewers to "Pangea National Park" for an up-close personal journey with the prehistoric animals.

On Friday, Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh, Fair Director Troy Waffner, and the baby dinosaur will cut the ribbon signifying the start of the Dino Safari. The ribbon ceremony is set for 12:30 p.m. Friday on the Orange Lot at the New York State Fairgrounds. Tickets are priced per car starting at $49.95 per vehicle of up to seven people. You can purchase tickets here. Demand has been high and they are encouraging everyone to purchase in advance.
