Lollypop Farm seeking community help after seizure of 136 animals
Donate with confidence! Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Fairport’s Lollypop Farm says it has rescued 136 animals from a trailer and property in Livingston County. It has set up temporary housing for many of the rescues. In total, there were 39 rabbits, 24 chickens, 22 gerbils, 19 domestic birds, 18 ducks, 6 turkeys, 5 dogs, 2 hamsters and 1 turtle rescued.
Lollypop Farm says the animals were found in poor conditions and suffering from untreated ailments. The shelter is now asking for help. You can apply online to foster a pet in your home, send essential supplies directly to Lollypop or make a donation. You can also donate bed sheets and newspaper.
