The Buffalo Bills have traded their second fifth-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft to the Houston Texans in exchange for a pair of sixth-round picks. Buffalo sent pick 174 in exchange for picks 203 and 212.

Buffalo will now pick four times over the last two rounds, including three times in the sixth. That’s five picks on Day 3 of the NFL Draft:
Round 5, pick 161
Round 6, pick 203
Round 6, pick 212
Round 6, pick 213
Round 7, pick 236
  • This is the first time Brandon Beane has traded down in the NFL Draft as Bills general manager. He’s made a habit of trading up, not trading back.
  • The Bills took kicker Tyler Bass and receiver Isaiah Hodgins in the sixth round in 2020, and safety Jaquan Johnson in 2019. In 2018, it was receiver Ray-Ray McCloud.
  • Buffalo has added two defensive ends and two offensive tackles since the start of the 2021 NFL Draft. We’ll see where they go from here.
