Police News Briefs

SHELDON — A New Jersey man faces charges after he was found with more than 10 ounces of marijuana during a traffic stop on Route 20A last week, Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies said. Jerry Paulino, 22, of Peterson was charged with driving while impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation, unlawful possession of cannabis, front and side windows not transparent and insufficient tail lights. Paterson was stopped at 6:20 p.m. April 15 for traffic violations. Deputies saw signs of impairment and found about 10 ounces of pot in the car. Paulino is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

WARSAW — Shawna M. Crandall, 35, of Perry was charged with criminal trespassing for being at Walmart, Wyoming deputies said. She had been banned from the store. She is to appear May 3 in Town Court.

GENESEE FALLS — Andrew L. Davis, 49, of Genesee Falls was charged with criminal trespass and criminal contempt of court, Wyoming deputies said. He allegedly violated an order of protection by forcing his way into a house on Tenefly Road. He was jailed with bail set at $5,000.

STAFFORD — Richard L. Hyde, 59, was charged with DWI after he was stopped at 10:48 p.m. April 14, state police said. He also was charged with reckless driving.

ALEXANDER — Aaron M. Hatt, 25, of Alexander was charged with criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after an investigation into a domestic dispute Monday, state police said. He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

ALBION — Fred R. Patterson, 45, of Holley was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, state police said. He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.

WARSAW — Aaron J. Veihdeffer, 43, of Warsaw was charged with third-degree assault, state police said. He is to appear at a later date in Town Court.
